Atys sp. 04  Genus: de Montfort, 1810

Atys sp. 04 is an undescribed or unidenfied species of the genus Atys, family Haminoeidae Pilsbry, 1895. It characterized by a white shell, by a transcendent whitish body. The headshield is densely covered with minute opaue white spots. Species of the family Haminoeidae are herbivorous cephalaspideans.
The above specimen was was identified by Dr. Richard Willan, thanks! He writes pers. comment:
"I think it an Atys sp. Unfortunately I cannot identify Atys spp. alive because the characters upon which they are based relate to their shells."
