This species was posted on 23 March 2011 at these websites as Chelidonura tsurugensis Baba & Abe 1959, Zamora-Silva & Malaquias (2017) synonymized it formally with the younger Chelidonura sandrana Rudman, 1973 and moved it into the new genus Mariaglaja Zamora-Silva & Malaquias, 2017. The solid black specimens were posted on 5 January 2004 ff at these websites as Chelidonura sp. A Genus: A. Adams, 1850, the black specimens with a broad white band on the head were posted on 5 January 2004 ff at these websites as Chelidonura sp. B Genus: A. Adams, 1850, the black specimens with yellow and white spots were posted on 15 January 2012 at these websites as Chelidonura sp. 03 Genus: A. Adams, 1850, the specimens #2, #3, and #4, were posted on 21 April 2003 ff at these websites as Chelidonura sandrana Rudman, 1973. I changed them all on 9 May 2018 into Mariaglaja tsurugensis (Baba & Abe 1959) [Chelidonura]. Very similar is the solid black Tubulophilinopsis sp. 01 Genus: Zamora-Silva & Malaquias, 2017, which differs by the 'bubble head', and by shorter 'tails'.
