Some older uw-guides misplace species of the genus Coriocella de Blainville, 1824 in the formerly subclass Opisthobranchia, just like sea slugs, but they are snails, NO seaslugs and placed in the family Velutinidae J. E. Gray, 1840, within the subclass Caenogastropoda Cox, 1960.
The identifications of the above species of Coriocella are to my best knowlegde, there is still a discussion whether these species are distinct.
Let me quote Gosliner, Behrens & Williams (1997) on species of Lamellaria:"At present it is virtually impossible to identify Indo-Pacific lamellarids to
species. The taxonomic distinctions between species are poorly known and little is known about their anatomy."
