Very similar is Armina semperi (Bergh, 1866) which differs by the black rhinophores with reddish tips, and by the reddish margin of its dorsum. The specimen #1 was misidentified and posted on 6 February 2011 at these websites as Armina semperi (Bergh, 1866),
the senior author of Armina scotti Rahul Mehrotra confirmed my 'new' identification.
