I quote Gosliner & Willan (1991): "The cerata are translucent white basally, with the opaque white digestive gland giving the cerata an overall white appearance. Near the middle of each ceras, an opaque white transverse band is present on its surface. More distally, the ceras is again translucent and a golden-yellow-orange enlarged portion of the digestive gland is visible. A subapical transverse ring of translucent purple is present just below the translucent white apex."
I quote Bill Rudman's Sea-Slug Forum:"The basal two-thirds of the cerata are either translucent white or dusted with white, and the duct of the digestive gland is opaque white. There is sometimes a distinctive opaque whitish band around the cerata at the upper edge of the white region of each ceras. Above the white band there is another translucent region, then a band of golden-yellow or orange. Above this there is a subapical transverse ring of dark translucent purple. The ceratal tip is translucent white."

This species was posted on 14 August 2012 at these websites as Flabellina delicata Gosliner & Willan, 1991,
Korshunova et al. (2017) reinstated the genus Coryphellina O'Donoghue, 1929 within the family Flabellinidae Bergh, 1889,
and moved Flabellina delicata Gosliner & Willan, 1991 into the genus Coryphellina O'Donoghue, 1929.
I changed it on 20 December 2017 into Coryphellina delicata (Gosliner & Willan, 1991) [Flabellina].
The holotype of Coryphellina delicata was collected from Papua New Guinea (PNG), there are records of it from Natal, South Africa, Okinawa, Japan, and the Marshall Islands, NUDIPIXEL has also pictures from Kilifi Creek, Kenya and Queensland, Australia.
