Here is the comment of Dr. Richard Willan on this species:"The family for this one is certainly Discodorididae. I’m equivocating between Sclerodoris and Atagema for a genus for it. Characters in favour of Sclerodoris are the ‘spongy’ mantle texture, irregular tubercles, and papillate rim on the rhinophoral sheaths. Whereas characters in favour of Atagema are the raised longitudinal mid-dorsal ridge, reticulate ‘network’ of small ridges on the mantle surface, and slightly raised rhinophoral sheaths. But it could be an Asteronotus once the internals are examined. Pretty similar are: Discodorididae sp. 13 which differs by a flat smooth middorsal ridge Discodorididae sp. 27 which differs by a smooth middorsal ridge, and by orange pigment at the mantle margin. I use the family and call it for now Discodorididae sp. 13. How to cite: Köhler, E.
