This species was posted on 23 February 2013 at these websites as Chromodorididae sp. 02 Family: Bergh, 1891,
Gary Cobb wrote on this picture: "This matches Hypselodoris sp. 8 in Nudibranchs of the World pg.123".
I noticed on 18 February 2017 that it is as Hypselodoris sp. 13 in Gosliner et al. (2015) and changed it into
Hypselodoris sp. 11 Genus: Stimpson, 1855.
I changed it on 24 September 2018 into Hypselodoris perii Gosliner & R.F. Johnson, 2018.
Let me quote Epstein et al. (2018) on the Etymology:
"Hypselodoris perii is named for good friend and diver guide extraordinaire, Peri Paleracio, who found the first specimen of this species in the Philippines. Peri has discovered many new species of marine life in the Philippines, and it is a pleasure to honor his efforts with this new species."
