Pretty similar is Goniodoridella savignyi Pruvot-Fol, 1933, which differs by a median londitudinal orange ridge. This species is as Okenia sp. 1 in IPN, page 132, it was posted on 7 June 2011at these websites as Okenia sp. A Genus: Menke, 1830, and changed on 31 July 2011 into Okenia sp. 01 Genus: Menke, 1830. For some genera, such as Trinchesia was the alphabet almost through. I had to change the distinguishing alphabetic character into a number. I had chosen 2-digit numbers, even though '01' looks a little bit stupid, and now is only the genus italic written. Reference: Gosliner, Terrence M., David W. Behrens & Ángel Valdés. 2008.
