Thecacera sp. 03  Genus: Fleming, 1828

Thecacera sp. 03 is characterized by its translucent dark grey/black background colour. The extrabranchial and extrarhinophoral processes are basally of the same colour as the body, merging in the outer part into bright orange, the apices are opaque white. The rhinophores are of the same colour as the body, but darker, also with orange subapical and white tips. The gills are also translucent dark grey/black
This species might be a melanistic variant of Thecacera picta  Baba, 1972, but it is most likely as Thecacera sp. 11 in Gosliner et al. (2015), page 120.
