species characterized by black longitudinal lines, bluish backgrounds and orange borders.
Chromodoris cf. strigata can be distinguished by a characteristic pattern of dark translucent patches on the dorsum. They are arranged in a regular pattern, a pair behind the rhinophores, one in the centre of the dorsum and a pair just anterior to the gills. Chromodoris cf. strigata differs from Chromodoris strigata by its orange longitudinal lines.
Pretty similar is Chromodoris cf. colemani which lacks the dark translucent patches.
