This species was posted on 20 June 2003 on these websites as Hypselodoris emma Rudman, 1977,
changed on 28 July 2012, the correct spelling is Hypselodoris emmae because it was named after Dr. Bill Rudman's daughter Emma. Since it was named after a woman the correct ending is "ae", if it was a man it would be "i".
Let me quote Bill's comment concerning this on the SSF:
"When I named this species after one of my daughters I deliberately treated 'emma' as a noun in apposition, rather than as an adjective, thus avoiding the need to change the spelling - and the pronunciation - from 'emma' to 'emmae'."
I changed the name back to Hypselodoris emma on 1 February 2016.
