Pretty similar is Roboastra tentaculata which differs by its broad orange bands.
The juveniles of Roboastra luteolineata are very similar to Roboastra gracilis, which has no dark line on the gills and lacks the yellowish-green markings between the rhinophores.
Rie Nakano sent 2 pictures to the Sea-Slug Forum showing the differences, she wrote:
"Juvenile R. luteolineata is just like R. gracilis, but the color of the gills is obviously different."
